Beach Activities, Recreation, Water Sports & Resort Amenities

The Colony offers a wide variety of services and amenities for the ultimate enjoyment of our white, sandy beach. You will find complimentary chaise lounges and chickee shade huts on the beach. Complimentary beach towels are available at the pool desk.

A beach volleyball net is located on the north beach. Volleyballs, paddles, and Nerf balls may be signed-out at the pool desk. Our tetherball, children’s playground, and jungle gym are located just south of the swimming pool.

Swimming Pool

Our heated, freshwater swimming pool is located beachside, complete with complimentary towels. We offer lap swim time each morning. Please check the activity calendar for times. The pool is open daily from 8 a.m. to Sunset.

Watersports

Watersports rentals are located at The Colony pool deck. Qualified staff is available from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. to help you with your watersports needs. An array of equipment for activities for fun on land or sea include Hobie Cats for sailing, aqua cycles, kayaks, bicycles, fishing poles (with bait) and boogie boards.

Bicycles

Bicycles suitable for all ages are available for hourly, daily or even weekly rentals.
